Cardi B wowed the crowd on Thursday night while headlining the first day of Norway’s star-studded Stavern Festival at the Larvik Golf Arena. And for her sizzling set, the 29-year-old rapper showcased her ample assets in a sheer black catsuit decked out in black sequin fringe.
‘IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK !!! Thank you Norway,’ captioned Cardi, who modeled her daring stage getup for her 137million Instagram followers. The WAP hitmaker protected her modesty by rocking a pair of black nipple pasties but put her pert derriere on full display through the mesh fabric.
The sequin details hung from the legs of Cardi’s catsuit, as well as around the neck, across the abdomen and on the cuffs of her sleeves. The Press rapper strutted around backstage in a pair of sky-high heels while lip-syncing to her latest track Hot S*** featuring Kanye West and Lil Durk.
Cardi’s raven hair was worn in sleek strands that brushed the tops of her shoulders. As for her glam, the mother-of-two rocked a black smokey eyeshadow look paired with a nude lip and a doll-like matte complexion.
She also included footage from the concert in Thursday’s post, notably her epic stage entrance which saw her rise up on a platform as the audience roared. Once on stage, Cardi put on a high-energy performance with a troupe of skilled dancers moving behind her as she rapped.
The crowd was clearly loving the Grammy Award-winner’s set as they surveyed the star from a tightly packed pit section with their hands in the air. In another clip, fans were captured passionately rapping along to Cardi’s chart-topping tunes as she oozed confidence on stage with her backup dancers.
In the caption of Thursday’s post, Cardi hyped up her upcoming headlining gig at the Wireless Festival in the U.K. ‘UNITED KINGDOM see you TOMORROW!!’ captioned the Bodak Yellow rapper, who will take the stage at Finsbury Park on Friday, July 8.
She later took to her Instagram Story to ask her fans in Birmingham to send her restaurant recommendations ahead of her arrival. ‘Lead me in the right direction,’ Cardi pleaded.
The hiphop star is extra eager to be traveling the world again following the release of her first solo single in over a year, Hot S***, last week. She last premiered new music of her own in February 2021 with the single Up. The song debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
It would eventually hit the number one spot on the chart after her stellar performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards five weeks later.
Leading up to the release, Cardi teased fans by sharing a 15 second snippet from the track while sipping champagne on a New York City rooftop dressed only in a Disco Daddy Studio bathrobe and towel.
