Tammy Hembrow’s entrepreneur sister Amy is thrilled they are both pregnant at the same time. The 32-year-old, who has just celebrated a collaboration with clothing giant Best and Less, told Daily Mail Australia it’s been nice to share pregnancy moments with her little sister, 28.
‘It’s been it’s been interesting. Obviously she’s more towards the end of her pregnancy, though,’ Amy said. While Amy is four months along, Tammy is in her third trimester and is nearing to the end of her pregnancy. ‘She’s getting more uncomfortable. And it’s bringing back memories for me.’
‘As well as me going through like when I went through the first trimester, and I was nauseous. She was like, “Yeah, I remember that feeling in the first trimester. And super tired.” So it’s been good. Just to share these moments together.’
Amy announced her pregnancy in April. She already shares a daughter Aurora, two, with husband Rory Carmody. Speaking about juggling motherhood with being a working mum, Amy said she ‘does what works for her family’.
Amy is the co-owner of the Gold Coast cosmetic clinic SSKIN AUS, co-founder of the fitness App Tammy Fit and a podcast host. The businesswoman said has boundaries in place now and is no longer contactable 24/7 so she can prioritise family time.
‘Before Aurora, I was like contactable 24/7. Yeah, so I kind of had to stop that because when I’m home, I really want to be present with my family,’ Amy said. ‘It’s really important to me. So setting those boundaries was really important, but honestly I’m just doing my best.’
Amy celebrated Mother’s Day earlier this month with collaboration with retail giant Best and Less. She posed up in a chic matching set from the brand and said she has been buying clothes for Aurora there for years.
‘I bought from there since forever. There stuff is really affordable but also really good quality and super cute. It’s really good quality,’ Amy said. ‘I really love my set, I’ve worn it four times already, it’s so comfy! I know a lot of brands that sell similar sets but they’re really expensive.’
