Dancing On Ice’s Matt Evers declares Sally Dynevor is a ‘new woman’ thanks to show

The Corrie icon, 58, has won over fans with her journey to skating stardom, with Matt, 45, detailing how the complex routines had given the actress an inner confidence and how she was buoyed by comparisons to her Bridgerton star daughter Phoebe, 26. Dancing On Ice star Sally Dynevor is a ‘new woman’ thanks to the confidence the show has given her, her skating partner Matt Evers has revealed.

‘Hattie and Phoebe sent her messages  mum we are so proud of you. She can watch the videos back and be look, and be like oh my God I actually look good.  ‘So I really think it’s a new vibe for her. I really think she is coming into a new woman.’

He ruled out doing ‘Bridgerton on ice’ as a routine but gushed over Sally being compared to her daughter in the hit Netflix drama. Sally recently admitted that Dancing On Ice has left her battling to control her nerves, with her so-called ‘fight-or-flight mode lasting all day’ before she hits the ice every Sunday.

The star, also said she ‘eats for England’ on the advice of her doctor because nerves cause her to burn so many calories.‘I don’t know how I’ll be on Sunday. I probably will be in fight-or-flight mode again.

 Sally also revealed she is ‘terrified’ of performing on Dancing On Ice and didn’t sleep the night before her skating debut. Discussing her stint on Dancing On Ice, Sally said: ‘We are having a brilliant time. It’s so much fun. I’m terrified about going on the ice. I’ve never put myself out there.

She added: ‘I like being up in the air. Matt is trying to get me to skate on my own and it’s very scary. Skating on my own for a minute is massive.‘I don’t want to fall over on live television. I didn’t sleep before the night of my first performance.Despite her nerves, Sally has survived the first four eliminations, which saw Ben Foden, Ria Hebden, Rachel Stevens and Liberty Poole sent home.
