On Saturday, Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated the fifth ‘miracle anniversary’ of her daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge flipping her ATV and nearly drowning in their Louisiana pond.The lucky 13-year-old was only eight when she was airlifted to Children’s Hospital New Orleans and made a full recovery after spending five days convalescing there from her injuries.
‘Maybe it’s just a little reminder to remain faithful through the good times and the bad times,’ the Louisiana-based 30-year-old wrote. I thank god everyday for the extraordinary medical professionals, all the prayer warriors, and the countless angels in heaven and on earth who made our miracle possible.’
Spears made headlines when she discovered she was pregnant, age 16, with Maddie while in a gas station bathroom with her ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge, who was 18 at the time. The manufacturers of the Polaris RZR 170 restricted anyone under age 10 from operating the ATV, so it was technically illegal for Maddie to have even driven her 7th birthday present.
Jamie also included a snapshot of chapter 10 from her new memoir Things I Should Have Said, which was titled ‘The Day My World Stopped’ where she recounted the ‘tragic accident’ from 2017.On Saturday, Jamie was also celebrating the fact that the 10-episode second season of her series Sweet Magnolias has topped Netflix’s top 10 most-streamed programs since premiering Friday.
The former Nickelodeon star reprised her role as a medical assistant called Noreen Fitzgibbons, who has a baby with her boss-turned-fiancé Dr. Bill Townsend . while Jamie goes to great lengths to conceal her daughters’ identities online, she had no problem having her three-year-old daughter Ivey Joan film a playground cameo in episode six.
The Follow Me singer mothered little Ivey with Advanced Media Partners owner Jamie Watson, with whom she’ll celebrate eight years of marriage on March 14. But Jamie is best known as the younger sister of Grammy winner Britney Spears , who now calls her ‘scum’ for publishing a tell-all.
Spears claimed she knew ‘very little’ about the 40-year-old pop star’s 13-year conservatorship, despite petitioning the court as her SJB Revocable trustee to move money into blocked accounts with Lou Taylor’s investment firm Stonebridge in august 2020.
