At the age of 15, the Divine mother asked Paramahamsa Vishwananda to move to Germany. He established the Bhakti Marga Foundation in the year 2005.
“It all started when i was about 5 years old when I ate a poisonous seed and got very sick. I was rushed to the hospital. I noticed a man just outside the window distributing candies to all the children. I marched up to the man and asked what he was doing there? To my surprise, the man stated that he was there visiting the children as well as me. The man gave me a candy and a coin. He quietly said to me “Look behind me. Do you see a light? I said no! The man asked me to look again and this time when I looked properly, I witnessed the light which was perhaps brighter the sun. The man then said to me that the light was me. “That was my first meeting with my Guru Mahavatar Babaji and of course, there have been many more such meetings after that.” says Paramahamsa Vishwananda.”
Paramahamsa Vishwananda shares his views on dharma and materialism.
How do you know what is one’s dharma in life ?
Guruji says “Firstly, to realise one’s dharma, you should start loving what you are doing and live where God has placed you but people find doing that very difficult. It is because, everyone wants to have everything in life. Even when people have everything, they crave for more. To attain that state you have to be free. With so much pressure within oneself, it is not possible to be free.”
Is it wrong to be ambitious for material wealth?
“No. Not at all. As long as you are also ambitious for God’s grace or for the divine, do your dharma. Try not to get too attached to the material wealth adds Paramahamsa Vishwananda.
