Dee Johnson, acclaimed for her work on “Fellow Travelers” and “The Good Wife,” serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer for the six-episode limited series. William Oldroyd, renowned for “Lady Macbeth,” directs the first episode and joins as an executive producer and writer. Jessica Chastain is also on board as an executive producer.
In “His & Hers,” set against the backdrop of Atlanta’s sweltering heat, Thompson portrays Anna, a journalist retreating from life until a murder in her hometown of Dahlonega pulls her back into the fray. As Anna delves deeper into the case, Detective Jack Harper, played by yet-to-be-announced talent, becomes suspicious of her motives, intertwining their paths in unexpected ways.
