2 public sector banks became targets

At the same time, according to information received from official sources, at least 10 Ukrainian websites have stopped working due to the cyber attack. These include the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Ukraine’s two largest state-run banks. The country’s largest state-owned bank Privtbank and state-owned Sberbank have also been cyber-attacked. Because the customers of these banks have complained that the bank’s apps have stopped working. Also online payment is not being done.

‘People’s money is safe’

The Center for Communications and Information Security of the Information Ministry of Ukraine told that there is no danger to the depositors, their money is safe. The ministry said that even though Russia has retreated, it is possible that someone associated with it carried out the attack. Because Russia’s aggressive plans are not fully working.
