Yoon Ga Yi has officially been cast alongside Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo in the highly anticipated comedy-action drama, “Undercover High School” (working title).
On September 10, OUI Entertainment, Yoon Ga Yi’s agency, confirmed her participation in the new series. Seo Kang Joon and Jin Ki Joo were previously announced as part of the cast.
The drama centers on Jung Hae Sung (played by Seo Kang Joon), who goes undercover as a high school student while concealing his true identity as an agent of the National Intelligence Service (NIS). Throughout the series, he navigates the complexities of high school life and forms meaningful connections with his classmates. The script is being written by Im Young Bin, known for “Bad Prosecutor.”
Yoon Ga Yi will portray a fellow NIS agent, bringing her impressive acting range to the role. Since her film debut in 2018’s “Second Life,” Yoon Ga Yi has established a robust career with notable roles in “Through the Darkness,” “Doctor Cha,” “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” and “Revenant.” Her versatility was also evident on “SNL Korea,” where she showcased her comedic talent through various unique characters.
“Undercover High School” is scheduled to premiere in early 2025. Fans can look forward to more updates as the release date approaches!
