“It’s truly humbling to see so many fans come out tonight,” Strait addressed the roaring audience. “We got some Aggies out there? Oh yeah! I’m ashamed to say this, but this is my first time to ever be in Kyle Field… damn. Just invite me back, I’ll come!”

Before taking the stage, Strait took to social media to rally his fans, urging them to arrive early and stay hydrated for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening.

Governor Greg Abbott of Texas was among the attendees and shared his enthusiasm for the historic event. “Unbelievable concert by the King, George Strait,” Abbott posted on social media. “Largest packed house for a concert in America. Ever.”

New Songs and Special Guests

Strait used the historic occasion to introduce two new songs, “MIA in MIA” and “The Little Things,” which will be featured on his upcoming album, “Cowboys and Dreamers.” The performance also featured guest appearances by Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman, adding extra excitement to the already electrifying night.
