Exceptionally anticipated feature film continuation Downton Abbey: A New Era sees its release date move to late Spring 2022. The film, also known as Downton Abbey 2, will be a spin-off of the principal Downton Abbey film, a spinoff of the tremendously effective British historical drama TV series of the same name, which hit theaters in 2019 and netted more than $194 million. The plot of this subsequent film will rejoin the cast as they gather in the south of France to reveal the mystery of a newly inherited villa.
